Regina Ryan has been associated with Louison, Costello, Condon & Pfaff, LLP since 1993 and was named a Principal with the firm in 2007. She specializes in litigation defense of public and private sector clients in a variety of complex litigation cases including employment law, school law and constitutional law.
In addition, Attorney Ryan has completed numerous courses at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. She is certified to conduct workplace investigations into allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination. Employers rely on her expertise to handle highly confidential and sensitive workplace disputes. She is also certified by the MCAD to train employees on how to avoid claims of discrimination in the workplace and has done so across the Commonwealth.
Her area of practice is concentrated in the defense of clients in the United States District Court of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts State courts. Attorney Ryan also represents clients at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Civil Service Commission and the American Arbitration Association. Attorney Ryan's clients include Massachusetts State and Municipal employees, municipalities and small businesses.
In this capacity, Attorney Ryan has successfully tried cases in the State and Federal courts of Massachusetts and as well as state administrative agencies. She has also successfully argued appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Further, Attorney Ryan has considerable experience with all forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution and with conventional settlement negotiations.
